No, a pastime doesn't need to be a sport. It is roughly defined as something you like to do. So, it could be your family's pastime to have a Friday night game-night. It could be a pastime of a summer to go to the ice cream stand...etc.

Cool hits keep coming

I see over 120 people have read my thread. I sure would be interested in a few more comments. Has anyone out there in the lacrosse world tried to play crossball? It is necessary to have skill with a lacrosse stick in order to succeed at crossball. This is why I am in a lacrosse forum, anyone can swing a baseball bat. Crossball til I die. David W. Brown

The pitcher pitches with a lacrosse stick. 3 pitches only, so make them good.
Check out crossball.org for the rules. To me this is the way baseball should have been played. Here is a thought, Native Americans invented lacrosse imagine if they had played that game with bases. Crossball would be the biggest game in the world. It is all a matter of time. David W. Brown.

It does not matter what the bats are made of. I have played the game the ball does not go any further that a hardball. Also if the pitches are softer the ball will have more trouble travelling a further distance. You would want to give your 3 pitches a little speed. Thats physics. Einstein said equal and opposite reaction. Mr Crazydrew86 dont you think you should take your lacrosse team and try and play crossball. Go to crossball.org and get the rules. You seem like you have alot of good questions you want answered. Trial and error. David W. Brown I.C.F

Cool International Crossball Federation

Well all I can say is you have to get on a baseball diamond and give the game a try. See how far you can hit it. Remember to use a lacrosse ball.
The logo concept was mine. I want one of those logos (I.C.F) on every crossball uniform in the world. I can dream can't I. Hope you try it out. Talk to you later. David W. Brown

That sounds fun. Everyone would crush the ball every time.

The ball does not get crushed everytime. Lots of grounders, pop outs etc
You only get three pitches, the trick is decide which one to hit. You have to rely on your pitcher(same team) to give you good pitches. Each player has to pitch a crossing(inning). The best thing to do is go to crossball.org get the rules and try the game out. David W. Brown I.C.F.
