Ok so this weekend me and a few of my friends were hanging out when we get a call from some kid telling us he wants to fight one of my friends. so we meet up with him and he chickens out and calls a bunch of his friends. people start talking **** and start calling more people eventually I hear one of the other kids friends say to someone on the phone "shoot the one in short one and the one in the beanie" so I tell my friends they blow it off and say that he was probably just kidding, eventually somone says that there in a gang and thats when things start to get more out of control. more people get called up and more people show up and it starts to turn into a serious problem. The original two kids who were gonna fight made amends but one of kid says to one of my friends were gonna fight here on friday.

My question is should I talk my friend out of it because of all the talks of bringing guns and tensions escalating between two schools arising?

Yeah... mgoalie pretty much summed it up.

I would avoid it if possible, and try to talk your friend out of it. He probably won't go out of it, but if something in fact DOES happen, you can say you tried.
