I'm looking to help build-out the forum a bit more. One of the ideas I had was for individual users to be able to make a forum for their own Lacrosse Team, or even Lacrosse League. That way we could get plenty of local lacrosse discussion, and people could invite their whole team to the forum to chat / discuss / trash-talk!

I think we need a bit better organization as well. We seem to have lots of "unused" sections. It was my suggestion that ultimately got the teams all wrapped up into 1 league section. I think we could probably do the same with the Olympic teams because they don't have many discussions either.

What other suggestions do you guys have? I'd like to discuss for a day or 2, and then make final decisions by Friday.

personally i think you should get someone to advertise this site like rock-itpocket.com, harrowsports.com, or e-lacrosse.com. i know a lot of lacrosse players go to that site and seeing are forum advertise at a site lilke those above would make them highly interested

I like the idea of Regional Forums. I'll figure out a way to categorize the regions.

Also, you might want to rearrange the whole way of doing:

General Lacrosse
Mens Field Lacrosse
Womens Field Lacrosse

It is kind of confusing, and you don't know where to post.

I suggest that you get rid of 'General Lacrosse', and move the Womens and Mens forums to the 'Lacrosse Players Forum' section of the site.

Remember that we do not need so many forums/sub forums. This will make the forums much more clustered making things very difficult to find. Make child forums instead. Eg. Lacrosse general (main forum) Womens and Mens (child forums).

I cant tell you how many times I hit the 'post quick reply' and not the 'quick reply'. Lose one or the other.
