They don't make pads large enough to engulf the entire goal. That would be just plain ridiculous and take away from the whole point of the game and skilled involved in scoring. That's why no one has taken advantage of it

Its not that uncommon to see kids with shots that fast in highschool. We have a guy with a 98mph shot and there are many players around here with 90+ shots.
