i dont really understand this rule why cant you check with your stick? does it hurt to bad? as bad as getting hit with an 60 mph+ lacrosse ball? it just doesnt make sense to me... fill me in

hitting below the waist can cause serious injuries and that can end a person career in sports as you can blow out their knee. Also some stick checks are illegal like a cross check as it can seriously injure someone

Also it is just a cheap shot. You don't want to see people 1 hand tomahawking at peoples ankles. That just isn't fun to play/watch. Play because every single second you get a cheap shot. And watch, because all you see is people getting hurt badly.

ok well i didnt read all the posts except the first one ok inless you are playin little kids lacrosse or girls lacrosse you can stick check i think who ver told you, you mixed it up you can check from neck to nut area if your sneaky, but ya i play D and ya you can check you wold not have any pads if you could not check there is a reasson for the pads and thats it thats why girls dont got pads becuase they cant check so ya.
