Default lacrosse questions

i am a first year. i have some questions that i can't find in the material provided. would appreciate any assistance. is playing without a crosse a personal or technical foul? A1 is n penalty area with 5 sec. left in his penalty as A2 scores a goal. at the next face off, as A1's penalty expires, he may; a. enter field at the defensive restraining line, b. enter field only after official declares possession, c. enter the field if wing area left vacant or d. b or c. and A1 in the attack area as a flag down ag. B1 occurs. A1 rolls ball to A2. The official will: all play to continue until goal is scored, allow play to continue until ball leaves the attack area, c. all play to continue until defense gets possession, d. blow whistle to stop play, e. either a, b. or c. thank you.

It would be a personal. Look at the thread titled "US Lacrosse -- Men's Lacrosse Rules".

Depends on your league. In my league they keep time running so they A1 would be able to enter at any side of the field.

The official usually allows the play to continue until they either score a goal or until a player from Team B gets possesion of the ball.

I hope that helps. I used my knowledge from games that I have played. If any officials are here, please correct me if I am wrong.

A lot of feilds differ. Some are longer than others. I have played on fields where I could kick a soccer ball from my goal post and it could go through the air and go into the other goal without bouncing.

Most university/college/pro stadiums are built with specific dimensions.

haha, no, those are not mlax fields, nor will you ever see a mlax field that long. This is a mlax field (notice much shorter distance between goals and lack of ability to have different lengths...) http://www.uslacrosse.org/pdf/field_mensncaa05.pdf

The one pictured at the top is an outdated wlax field. Seriously outdated at that (no restraining lines).
