is that even possible i got called for that and like i got 30 secs the ball was on the edge of being out and when the other team got the ball i shove him by the side totally legally and i shoved him out of bounds then the ref calls me for loose ball push with possession and im like wth i play youth lacrosse and im in eighth grade also play middie just to let you guys kno the head coach of the other team was ref so yea is loose ball push with possession even possible i might be wrong

Loose ball push with possession? There is push with possession, and loose ball push, but there cannot be a loose ball push with possession. You may have heard the ref wrong.

Unless of course the ref thought you were possessed....

I have never heard something like that called. In my game, I had my player puch someguy out of bound and we got possesion.

He probably meant push w/ possesion. A lot of refs are retards and will call a push from the side a push.

no i heard him clearly he was probably mad because we where getting some good hits on their d's even my coach was mad they had a long talk after the game when i was on the sidelines he was all like o look at that that was a push from behind my coach is really mellow and thats what i like about him i appreciate that he didnt go all crazy and start yelling at the ref lol

no they call that when they dont feel that it was a legal move but didnt warrent a penatly. However, your ref meant push with poession becuase of the penatly time you recieved

mabey you thought there was possesion and the ref thought since he didn't have total control of the ball in his pocket it was loose.

If you served time, the penalty was a push with possession. If the ball had been loose the ref would have just awarded the ball to your opponent. There is no such thing as a loose push with possesion. Could he have called "blue push with possession" or your team color and you mistook it for loose?
