Just Started a new lacrosse team, but i've only played in a private street league, and our rules were different, I need to know when the game starts who faces off and where does everybody start off, please help. and also any other hints and help you might be able to give, i'm trying my hardest to get this team ready, but i've never officailly played in a real league.

Is this for field or box?

Field:
Ten players in total (1 goalie, 3 long-poles, 3 middies, and 3 attack).
Goalie and long-poles line up on/behind the restraining line on the defensive end.
Attck line up on/behind the restraining line in the attack zone.
One middie lines up in the faceoff circle, and the two others line up on the wings.

Game starts once the whistle blows. Exact timmings depends on the league.

the defense does not need long-poles although you can have a max. of 4 long poles!!

The 20yards from the center line to the line is the restraining line. Attached is a picture of what I am talking about.

Also, Attack, and defense/goalie cant go outside the box until a team 'has the ball'
