Hey, I have been practicing and playing for a year now. I have done clinics at both D-man and Middie. I have a problem-To play middie you should be the most conditioned player on the field-One problem Im not that conditioned-But I have very advanced stick skills for only playing 1 year. I prefer defensemen considering I can cover great with the longpole. Plus I prefer being an inforcer. But my lacrosse coach says I have the ability to be an excellent Middie. He said in a make or break time in a game he wants me at D-man. According to him our other d-men arnt verstile enough to switch to a shorter stick. But I can play either. So I love d-man and I think Im better at it but coach likes me at Middie. What do you guys think?

Personally I think you should follow your favourite position. But if your still dont no ask a few of your team mates. I'm certain they'd help.

i agree with atmosphere you should play long pole middie because it allows you to play d as you said you like and be a middie for your coach, it's a good compromise

As stated above.

But if you have nice stick skills, don't forget about Attack. An Attackman defines himself on his stick skills.

Just switch around to the one you like. I recommend middie first since its defense/attack together but if you like blocking balls then go for goalie. Just try any position and switch around. But i play middie so thats why i recommend it.
