Sup everybody I'm going to be trying Lacrosse this year at school. Im in 10th grade but never played on and organized team before. Ive fooled around with my friends stick and stuff but i dont have my own. Anyways Just looking for some tips. I didnt just decide this today though. Ive been running about 2-4 miles from the end of last year through the summer until now and trying to stay somewhat in shape. Its probably a disadvantage i didnt play in my freshman year, dont know if its too late for me to start now but i wanna give it a shot. Any training advice or maybe a good stick for me to start out with.

if this is your first yeaar you shold get a begginer head and shaft and get it strung with hard mesh with a low pocket. Then just play wallball to get better hand and eye cordnation

What position will you be playing? It is great you started lacrosse. You are never to old to start playing. I started playing at the age of 13 (grade 9). Will you play box or field?

If you are comfotable with your friends stick, then why not get a stick like his. Go to your local lax store and try out different head combinations. Check out LaxShopper.com - the Lacrosse Marketplace for great reviews about different sticks and protective gear.

Work on your stick skills. Be out there playing wall ball, run, and play with friends. Keep trying. Good luck.
