same and I run cross-country so I run like 40 min. to an 1 hr. 20 min. a day or bike or swim, its all good for cardio. Then I lift every third day, and I do TONS of training for strength and agility, www.sparq.com -- its a really good way to train!

do lots of wallball, lift weights, and LOTS of running. i cant stress enough how conditioning helps you, even more than weight training. that can be the difference later on in the game, when you still have gas left, and the other team is totally cooked. also go to a few camps, and keep your skills up.

Yes. My coach used to always tell me which ever team is in better shape will win the game. So I'm always in shape.

Over the summer I am training for field hockey season so I run three times a week and I lift 2 times a week. But during my winter off season It is alot harder to get out and train so usually when school starts back up I hold captains practices in the gym and we run for an hour or so and then stick work...the one thing i remember my coach telling us this year because in past years we have been really bad was "I dont know if anyone told you but you will definately be the best conditioned team you play" and it is so true you cant win games unless you are conditioned
