Default Starting point

Hello, Im the new kid. Im a long time fan of LAX but I literally just started playing(bought my stick Saturday) As of right now I just go to a raquetball court and play wall ball. I am extremely behind the learning curve for this. Any advice and tips to help me pick this up as soon as possible would be greatly appriciated. Also if there is anyone in the greater Tampa Bay area who needs another person to practice with just let me know. Any help would be great!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

You are already starting off right by playing wall ball. Play alot, and with both hands. Also find a goal to shoot on. You can't win if you can't score. Overhand, Sidearm, Underhand, Quickstick, and from all over the field. Also practice scooping alot. It is very underated as something to practice, but it will help. Again, with both hands. and then with one hand.

Very important. If a coach sees you can get those groundballs, he will find a place for you.

Wallball is a great idea as well.
