Default is it to late to start lacrosse?

hey guys, im kind of desperate for advice here. Im alright at lacrosse, i have some natural talent. im a freshman in highschool and the season is over. so im going to play next year. the only thing that is really bothering me is the other kids on the lacrosse team taunting me a bit for trying to play lacrosse. oh well. BTW no one has ever taught me anything about lacrosse, i just kind of figured most of it out on my own. i can cradle and shoot alright. but i always pass WAY too hard. can anyone help?

Just play a lot of wallball to get your stick handeling skills up. I started when I was in my first year of highschool and 4 years later, I have the best stick skills in the league.

What position do you play? Try to run as much as you can. Go for long distance runs. Or go on a field, jog the short sides and sprint the long sides. The harder you train the better you become.

Soccer is a great way for conditioning. I played soccer everyday in the summer.

It's never to late to start the best game on the planet. Like most have said, just play a lot of wall ball, and practice cradeling. You may also want to improve your flexibility. This will help you in tight situations when everyone is watching you instead of getting to open space. LOL

Yeah I'd do the wall ball thing, work on sprints, practice cradleing anytime you get a chance. I play attack too and thats what i try to do when im not being lazy. soccer is a good way to condition but if your not so good at long distance running you may want to consider Cross-Country, Thats what i did and it sure payed off. also if your big enough just go for football (believe me it will do good)
Also what do the weights have to do with? For your shooting you have to have some muscle but you don't need a lot at all. I have hardly any muscles but im fine and i started playing in my sophmore year in highschool who are defending state champs so you should be able to make it if you train well!!!
