I know that playing wall ball is one of the best at home drills for any lax player and in my opinion, epecially so for a goalie. I am a goalie and I wish I could play wall ball, but I don't have a wall or a rebounder at home I could use. What I do now is go into the room I workout in in my basement where there is a small area with a brick wall. The ceiling isnt high enough to use a stick, so I kneel down and throw the ball at the wall and catch it with my hand. But my question is, where do you play wall ball?

You just have to walk around your neighberhood and see if you can find a brick wall or cement wall somewhere.

Or you could always
1. build one
2. buy a rebounder

I go to my Elemntary school and play wall ball there. It has a nice big wall and no one to get in the way.

If I feel lazy to go there, I have a 3' - 4' brick wall on the side of my house. The bricks are not smooth so the ball bounces off at wierd angles. Its perfect!

If it is raining/snowing outside, I have a sponge ball that I use to throw around at home. It makes no dents.

Get a mini Nemesis or a STX Shadow and play around with one of those.

what do u throw the sponge ball off of?
and i have a mini eclipse so i think that is a shadow.

And also, could i throw off a regular sized brick wall in my basement. The is just too low for me too throw with a shorty, so could i do it with a shadow?

Yes, the mini Eclipse is the Shadow. I am not sure how big it is. It might be the right size to use in your basement.

My elementary school is 2 minutes away if I walk. Look around your neighbour hood and see if you can find a wall. It might be another school or a store. Or you can always get a big piece of plywood and use that as a back board.
