Yeah. We have very few field leagues. There is ~1 field league in my area. My box program starts in early April. Thats when all the hockey rinks melt their ice.
I know that playing wall ball is one of the best at home drills for any lax player and in my opinion, epecially so for a goalie. I am a goalie and I wish I could play wall ball, but I don't have a wall or a rebounder at home I could use. What I do now is go into the room I workout in in my basement where there is a small area with a brick wall. The ceiling isnt high enough to use a stick, so I kneel down and throw the ball at the wall and catch it with my hand. But my question is, where do you play wall ball?
get out of the house, bring your stick and ball around town, im sure you will be able to find a nice brick wall.(most of the time a school).
There's a school near where I live and there's plenty of wall over there so I play some wall ball over there. You could always search around the neighborhood or even go out of your neighborhood to play depends on how lazy you're feeling that day I guess.
I have a brick wall under my porch that i use. but the problem is i live on a massive hill, so i miss or the ball goes over the wall and im pretty much out of luck
