Default LAX brand

hey guys, I heard about this place called laxoutlet.com it has "LAX" brand sticks and heads and other gear. They are made by brine and warrior....interesting. The head has an okay pinch (the kind youd want for D).The shafts are interesting. They are kind of like the old axes at least the paint design. The head and shaft are each under 20. Complete stick for 39.82. They also sell bags, gloves, shoulderpads, rib pads, and elbow pads. These products are great for the beginner. Parents dont have to spend a fortune on this decent equipment. I might even get the head and see what its like....
what do you think?

seems intersting it has top hole design as a brine head and offset then it has a pinch like warrior, and its cheap like brine if they acept money orders i might get one and see how they are since it is cheap hopefully the plastic is wht they use for brine

EDIT:its a sin it looks good but newer(rich players) might not think its good since its cheap

It's a perfect head/shaft combo for beginers who are not sure if they like the sport or want to keep playing it. It is actually a good idea and I think that their equipment is just lower end and out dated. I might buy the head and just give it a sick pinch to screw around with in the back yard lol.

Default Not bad for the money

I bought a "LAX" head to try out some stringing and dying designs. I didn't feel like messing with my game sticks. It really is a mix between Brine and Warrior. It feels and strings up a lot like the Brine Motive but has a lot of stuff borrowed from warrior. The head is on the stiff side, well made and is really nice looking. The amount of pinch on the throat is more than the pictures show. It is very similar to the EVO from warrior in pinch. I am very happy with it and and have gotten a number of questions on the head. I bought it online on eBay for $15 with shipping. I would highly recommend this head for those who are starting out and looking for something to play with. For a summer youth team I am coaching the league has bought some to give as end of the year prizes. I am stringing them up now.

Don't waste your money on those piece of crap heads. There is no way they are made by Brine or Warrior. No one with any experience in manufacturing lacrosse equipment would build something like that. The plastic on the sidewalls and scoop is ridiculously thick and the plastic on either side of the ball stop is ridiculously thin so it's heavy but not strong. The plastic itself is definitely not the same stuff warrior or brine uses.

If you want a cheap stick get a gait icon. Those lax sticks are practically a scam.

I wouldn't recommend the head. My friend bought it and it sucks. It's flimsy, and not a good pinch. The Gait Icon is a much better cheap head. The shaft's "alright." and the pads are actually pretty good. He bought the entire LAX setup.
