I was just watching some guys play with some of those new maverik lax shafts and they look sick. I was just wondering what you guys know about them, I heard they come in camo colors too? Can anyone update me on what they know about maverik and what they have to offer?

they are pretty bad, in my opinion.... the camois the EXCEL which is worse and more expensive
the feel, grip, and the octogonal shaft are pretty bad if you are going to get it make sure you DEMO it or TRY it BEFORE you get it

maverick wonderboys are made of high grade aluminum. they dent fairly easy but are lighter than the db803. the wonderboy xcell is the camo one which is not much stronger than the regular

They arent terrible. Just not good. If your gonna get one, buy the cheaper one. It is the same shaft, just not with the cooler design.

yeah, the octoganal (?) grip is pretty annoying, in my opinion though
