Default [REVIEW] harrow howitzer D pole

Harrow hotizer D pole
is very well known for its name and being one of the only graphite d shafts

weight 7/10 IT was to heavy and it wasa to light but it was light anough for me and loved it if you are short do not buy as if you cut it down the shaft to much you wont be able to put a head on

strenth durability 10/10 man it is strung every on my team thought I would snap because I go throw shafts like they are nm but it lasted with me so it should last for any one

appearence 9/10 The shaft looks very nice looking but looks arent everything

grip factor 10/10 good job harrow you did it again with your grip there was no need for tape as it has grippiness on it

scratch/chip factor 8/10 Unlike other harrow shafts this does not chip easiliy so it will look nice even after your season and when it does chip it will match if you got the grey and yellow one like me

what I was disapionted wiith the shaft
the graphite butte I found it to kill like a b**** if you were switching hands and you accidently hit your self in the knee

the tampered I was hoping it would be fat in the middle and skinny at the top and bottom like the howitzer shorty a nd it was only tampered at the bottom

overall:8/10

Why? Where is the science in that?

Let's say you're giving a good ol slap check, okay? With a full size d-pole, you have the full length extended, making the head go faster, correct? However, if you cut it down, you have less length, transferring to less force on the head, meaning less force exerted on the shaft, meaning less likely to break.

Same goes for any other situation. You're hands are going to be closer to the head, giving more strength.

I forgot to look at how old this post was but i hope some one can answer me. When you go to the harrow site there are 2 d poles. What are the differences. And also i saw on the bottom of the page it said compatable heads. Do i need to get there heads or can i use on like the warrior stiffi. I was at a store today looking in person and the harrow d pole was the lightest one there so i would give it a 10/10 for its weight.

you can use any men head on the harrow d poles but you may have to drill a new hole

the one that says harrow howitzer d pole is the one in this thread

the other harrow pole is just a straight harrow shaft like a field attack

at lacrosse camp last week a defender slashed a kid in the head with this harrow d pole and it just snapped in half. the two pieces were jagged and hurt like hell to touch
