Default Cutting my d pole

I play d and defensive midi and i like to make long runs down the field for those coast to coast goals. one of my coaches recommended that i cut my d pole to allow for better control. i was wondering if anyone had any advice to give before i go and saw offf the end of my stx scandium.

my coach said the same thing he said to cut it down to your nose. But this affects your range big time so only do it if your sure its gonna help or your a taller guy

i'm a big guy, but i dont want to lose too much range so i think i'll cut my old d pole just a few inches to experiment. thanks for the advice

i think u should definitly cut it.
my coach sais shoulder level is good, i like a bit less.
around ur nipple area.
i get way more control, cradleing becomes easier
and if ur good the loss of range wont matter.
it actually helped me cuz i was more acurate and had faster movement
due to the reduced weight.

ps, make sure u have a tought head if ur gonna do that.
i have the revolution 2.0
