I'm pretty sure that it is 5.8 ounces. It's a sick shaft.

i really like the optra because first of all the thing is basically indestructible, i have had it for years and i have one extremely small crack no bigger than a hair. the other reason is because of the grib which is enough where you can go tapeless but at the same time enough so that it doesn't screw up your shooting/passing. it's also a lot easier to drill holes in and to cut. The only thing that you may or may not like is that the grip comes off but not for a while like mine has pretty much no grip at all in some spots which i personally prefer.

ok so from what i found the optra was 110000 psi breaking strength and the venom was 106000 psi and they weigh the same so why does brine make both of these shafts when they are almost exactly the same?

some people just prefer metal over composite like owned by goons said. Lacroose is all preference, i know a kid who prefers this 20 year old stick that weighs like a lagit 15 pounds.
