Well personally for me i think the brine triumph. I currently use this helmet and i love how after using for about 1/2 a month the memory foam inside forms to your dome. It has really nice vision and isn't too heavy for me. Other helmets to consider: Cascade CPX, Pro7.

All three lax_master reccommended are excellent. I'm more of a Cascade guy, their helmets just fit my head better.

What you should really do is go to a local store, and try on the helemets. You want to make sure that it fits you perfectly, otherwise you'll be annoyed by it after a season or two.

I agree, Cascade's just feel more comfortable IMO. I have a CPX Titanium, don't know what the difference between the Titanium and regular CPX is, but it's a sweet helmet! No complaints. But here's a tip for the CPX: you are supposed to look out through the top mask section. Great helmet. The Pro 7 looks nasty and I've worn it once at a local store but haven't worn it for more than a couple seconds. Try that out too.

I have a custom made CPX, I have a big head so none of the stock sizes fit me.

haha wow sirray... Just, please, LOOK OUT OF THE TOP BAR! of any helmet you get. you nee style. tilt = style. But yeah the cascade pro7 and cpx both adjust to very wide ranges of head size using different padding. The Brine helmets do as well, but the use a dial on the back to "dial to appropriate size" This seems more user friendly but Ive never tried it.
