I'm my highschool's starting goalie so being comfortable in the net is a big deal to me just like anyone else. I recently had to buy a new helmet because i couldn't deal with my school issued Riddell helmet (not the new one, the old crappy one..), specially after having the visor shatter from a shot in the middle of a game.

When i looked for a new helmet online i found two that i liked.
1. Cascade Pro7
2. Warrior Venom

I heard good things about the Pro7 but nobody knew a thing about the venom, not even the Lacrosse Unlimited store up in Madison over by Fairleigh Dickinson University who didn't even have a venom for show lying around anywhere. Not wanting to risk wasting $190 on a helmet i knew nothing about I chose to order the Pro7.

I was just wondering if anyone knows any pro's or con's about the Venom, because if it is worth it i'll just try to return the pro7 and ask for the venom instead.

A little off topic but how is that store? ive been meaning to go and check it out seeing as how im all of 10 minutes away.

On topic, i think the pro7 does have better protection than the venom. My friend used both and he said he preferred the pro7
