I have one and personaly find it great. It is kinda hard to get a high pocket on but its worth getting. Its on the stiff side which is nice. It also is great for facing off. I think you wont be disapointed. Another head to consider is the clutch. I have one of those .(i won it) its a great head. Good luck shopping.

personally i use the clutch more than the helix. This is due to the multitude of holes i can choose where i want the pocket. i would recommend this head 2 anyone. The helix is good if you like a low to mid pocket though. But the clutch is the perfect balance of weight and stiffness. Its the GREATEST!!!!!

Im definitely an advocate of the clutch. It handles the ball real nice. Its got a pretty decent scoop. It feels just like my old answer except less pinched and alot stiffer. It is by far my favorite head for all positions other than goalie.
