I am going to buy a d shaft for my brother. He's a few years out of college, where he played club after playing high school lax in north jersey. I know his priority is durability (preferring a stick that's not going to ding much or bend). It should not be one of the new offset shafts, but the head should be offset and also durable.

For heads, would the Clutch or Revo Pro be good choices? What about the new Stiffi?

For shafts, what's durable and not super expensive?

Any advice appreciated.

i would recommend the warrior diamond shaft. Its light , and durable. Its grip has got a good feel. The price is mid range , like 140 i think. The only downside is that the grip will rip the mesh on the palm of your gloves. But if hes out of school and just playing leagues that wont matter. As for a head i would go with the revo pro. its a solid head.

I use the STX axe c405 and its around 110$, its lightweight and strong, i had a supra dpole but it bended in the first game this season haha, the only bad part of the axe is that its gets really slippery when wet.
