My E3 has just become illegal and I need to get a new head that is available intown. Is the Proton Power a solid head for a middie? I do face-offs, and play in a lot of man down situations on defense. Will it warp or keep its shape? Has anyone had problems with its legality in games? This is for high school lax. Let me know. Thanks

Its really stiff so instead of warping it will just snap like mine did. i was going for a ground ball and the other middie lifted my back hand and then pushed me in the back causing the scope to get shoved into the ground and snapping it on the top left sidewall...but that being said probably any head put into that situation besides an X2 would snap. Over all its a pretty good head and i did face offs with it and it never warped at all..its really stiff so its good for d play.

Stick with Brine.....Get the Brine Nitrous it is super stiff and great for faceoffs.....It's actually specifically designed to help with faceoffs.
