[REVIEW] STX Eclipse Goalie Stick
Now I have had this stick for a year and I decided to do a review for it.
Eclipse
The STX Eclipse is the first open sidewall goalie stick with the largest stopping area of any goalie head. The Eclipse is a goalie stick with the passing accuracy of an attack stick. The Eclipse has a streamlined scoop and a perfect blend of stiffness and flexibility.
Weight -- 9/10
The Eclipse has a great weight. It is not as heavy as other sticks but it is not as light as the Guardian or the Sentenial. Weiging in at only 11.2 ounces!
Stopping Area -- 10/10
The Eclipse has the biggest stopping area of all goalie sticks. Except for wooden ones which are illigel for field use.
Stringing -- 9/10
I found it very easy to string my Eclipse. It has holes in the right places and makes a very good channel when strung right.
Durability -- 10/10
I have had this goalie stick for a year. I have played box and field with and and many hour of wall ball and this goalie stick only has scoop scratches. I love it.
Scoop -- 9/10
Ths scoop is slightly tappered allowing for easier ground balls. It is very easy to scoop with it and I love it. The scoop is all prefrence. Some people may like a large tapper like the Nemesis or a small tapper like the Eclipse.
Over all this is a great haed. It is flexible yet strong. I would recommend this head to any age level and. I would rate this stick a 9/10.
