umm.... First off I am going to say gimp does not seem very free because when I try to install it it says this
Gimp.app requires X11 from the "Optional Installs" package on the OS X install disc.
That would mean I was supposed to have a disk. Most likely form a store. Most likely meaning I bought it. Is there any way around that? BTW I use MAC OSX

Thanks for sticking up for me admin. I just don't get around to posting very much. School work picked up like crazy right before summer, so now, since it is summer, I'll be more active.

I don't have os X, but I know that X11 is a window management thingey, which would be required for gimp on os X. I also know that it is free, from the apple website.

I found the link to where you can download X11.
