hey, im 13 years old and next year would be my 3rd year playing lacrosse. i play for my school team which is a seventh and eighth grade team. this year we had two goalies, one 7th grade and the other 8th grade. next year the eighth grade goalie obviously wont be on the team, he will be heading off too high school. the seventh grade goalie is supposedly going to get moved up to JV. so next year we will have no goalie on our team(unless one of the seventh graders decides to play goalie). i know all the kids in sixth grade who play lax and none of them play goalie. i originally play attack but im thinking next year i might want to take one for the team and play goalie. i think it would be cool to play goalie but i dont want to say yeah coach ill play it and start to play it and absolutely hate it and want to go back to attack. please give me some advice. thanks

The only way to see if you like it is to try it. You could ask your coach to put you in net for a practice to see if you like it or not. Maybe just maybe, you could be the next all star. Just go for it bud.

yeah dude, you should work with someone during the offseason. if one of your friends has a net you should have some people shoot on you to see if you like it or not. you might not like the thought of people shooting on you though.
