Default Attaching head to shaft...

I play goalie at the high school level and I'm having problems keeping the head of my stick screwed on my shaft. I use a self-tapping screw so the hole is tight, but the vibrations and pressure from shots loosens the screw and messes up the hole. Anyone have any ideas on how to keep this from happening?

take some athletic tape and tape the the top of the shaft....u can do just the front half to leave the screw hole open.....this will stop the head from vibrating, it will keep the head on snug, if u have to lose more/less tape u can.

yeah i used to have the same problem, but yeah all you need is to tape the throat of your stick and make sure to cover the screw
