Default Quality of your shaft

Alright im sure as any goalie would do, you smack your shaft on the pipe from time to time to check your position. I have been doing this a little more than usual and as a result my DB803 has a giant fracture down the back of it. Anything like this ever happen to someone?

no. I used a warrior alloy 6000 shaft that nothing happened to it. Just a few orange marks, scratches, and maybe one or two small dents.

I got a krypto lyte and i will tell u how that is

I always used the cheap shafts that came with the head. Only small dents and a few scratches. I have used a Kryptolyte for the past season of box and field. It has held up really well.

Thats a shock to me. The DB803 is titanium, its not common for titanium to just crack like that. Well actually, it depends, how long have you had it?, maybe it was already time to get a new shaft, i dont know.

scandium is a nice shaft, a bit excessive for goalie though, try a plat alloy, alot cheaper and comparable weight

ya i just finished my 2nd season and that shaft has been through a lot but i havent treated it with excessive abuse.

I am also considering getting a vandium. Actually I think i am going to get the vandium, not the grip though of course.

anyone like that shaft.

not sure about the vandium. but I am constantly hitting the pipes, like . . . .i dont stop. I had no problems with that using both a klyte and an 803 ice (which is fanomonal)
