Hey, for the past year i have been playin goalie, i have been string my heads with monster mesh. And after about two weeks of using it i get incredible amounts of whip and can barely throw the ball. What kind of mesh do you guys prefer?

i like monster mesh because i can get a bigger pocket with it

Always been a 10D mesh guy. I have had my head strung with 10D for 2 seasons and I have had no problems with it. Around me area, a lot of goalies use 10D as well. I know 12D is very popular as well.

yea i didnt know if 12D is any good. Cause how i have been stringing it is i put to vertical sidewall strings weaving through the mesh on both sides but not doing the sidewalls and than i put my side wall strings in. And i dont know but it always ends up getting whip....do you have any ideas for stringing and how to put the shooting strings so it throws well?

is 12D much different from 10D?

12D has smaller dimonds. It is mesh in the middle in terms of hold and throwing. For 10D stringing, there is a tutorial on this forum. It works really well if you want to give it a shot.
