Well i wear padded shorts an shin guards and i wear sweat pnats over it and it gets way to hot on hot days so should i cut the bottom of the sweatpants and just wear long socks. I will only cut them to lke my shins.
I would wear shorts that come a little below your knees, and wear soccer socks. Soccer socks dont get to hot when your in the goal. You could even pull your socks down a little.
I would suggest that u just not use the shin guards or padded shorts. I wore padded shorts and shin guards my first year and then just switched to normal shorts and no shin guards and had much more mobility and was able to make more saves.
