Default Goalie Pants

Has anyone played with goalie pants? I have been looking at them for a while and am trying to figure out if they are worth it and how much mobility they will cut off. Any thoughts?

Never played with goalie pants but I did play with football/hockey pants. They were pretty worthless. I would get the goalie pants if you are starting out and are still not used to the game. Otherwise, I would say no.

I must say that no self-respecting goalie over the age of 12 wears any form of protection below his jock.

i wear those shorts made by warrior... i find they let me use my thighs to save shots alot more. Not that i cant save them with my stick, its just nice to have an alternative.

They are good for starting players bu most goalies on higher levels don't use them cuz its more restriction of movement-You get use to shots by then, but in indoor they can be useful.

I wore the Warriors for a while and I thought they sucked terribly. They were constntly riding up on me and I looked like a freak out there pullin on my shorts. I dont recommend them. The funny thing was is that when I was wearing them I blocked all the shots with my shins and when i wasnt wearing them I blocked them with my thighs.

I went and bought a pair of warrior pants, used them for one practice and burned them that night. They dont really cut down movement too much, but they make you focus on where your not protected. And ya look like a goof.
