Default "wood" goalie shaft/Christmas

What do you guys think about the talon goalie shaft? and What gear are you guys going to ask for this christmas?

Never used it before. But I would find a wood goalie shaft useless for field. But if you are getting it for box, then go for it.

The thing about the talon shafts is that they are not true woods. Ita actually a thin composite tube covered in a eigth or so of hardwood. so it allows it to stay lite but keep character and shape

talons arent wood they are fiber glass with a wood veneer(wrap/graphics) over it and are very very heavy and break easily- I can make you shafts iether wood or composite that are higher quality if you wish to-

i used a woodie half of last year and loved it...it was flip grip style

our goalie also used a woodie made of the same wood (red oak)

from waht i've seen heard of talons they are pretty nice..
