I live in Vermont, so i go with sweats for about half the season (mud, cold spring days, ect.), but i must say i have made more than one lucky save with my baggy sweatpants. Shorts are nice too.
i totally disagree, i think it hurts the same no matter if its bare skin or sweats, the only dif is with shorts itll tear ur skin more, i always wear shorts and will do a long sleeve underarmor if its cold
i starte wearing sweats cuz its happened alot more than once where the ball somehow rolls into my shorts and i cant get it out and that gets really annoying. i live in arizona but the heat doesnt affect you if your not moving for like the whole game
I would go with baggy sweat pants. Just for the reason that if the ball is shot then there is a better chance of your pants catching the ball. Not for how hot or cold it is.
well i play two seasons a year. for one i only wear shorts, for the other i wear sweatpants. if you stay in net most of the time i would say sweatpants. if you run it up the field i would suggest shorts.
2 years ago when i played goalie i never wore sweatpants. I always had shorts on. It was mainly a pride thing. I wanted it to look as if i wan't afraid of anything.
