Default Difference between attack and goalie shaft

is there any difference besides length between an attack shaft and a goalie shaft?

Attack length is 30" while goalie length is 40".

good question, well its weight of course because of length and im sure goalie sticks have a little more reinforcment. but i really dont know for sure.

ok because i play with a short stick and if theyre the same id rather save a few bucks and buy the attack shaft version instead of the goalie one, but like you said i dont know if the goalie shaft is more reinforced or something

The goalie shaft is a bit more thicker then attack shafts. Attack shafts will work. People do get beaten with those sticks and they still last. BTW, how old are you. The age group you play with can also effect the life of the shaft.

Either would work. But if you are the type to go out of your crease, I would get a goalie shaft and cut it down.
