Hey guys,

I have a 1 season old STX Goalmaster that I got for $20 semi-used. At my local lax shop, they are selling the STX Eclipse (on a STX AL6000 shaft) for $106, but now it is 50% off, for $53. I know the person who runs the shop, and am going to ask if I can get just the head for maybe $43. Is it worth it to get this head? Any comments on the subject or on the Eclipse itself would be great.

Eclipse is one of the (if not the) top used goalie heads for field lacrosse...

Nemi and Guardian are also popular choices

yep its one of the most used and best liked goalie heads and it is definitally worth the price, but it is all preference.

That is an extremlly good price. I would definetly pick one up. I had that same combo my 2nd year and I love it. And the AL6000 was a beast. It just has 2 dents over 4 years of playing and my style this year was very aggressive and I would come out of the net a lot.

The Eclipse is a great head. It has the largest area and is very light. Definetly worth the price.

eclipses are pretty good. I got one this year and its great. The AL6000 is a good stick but I like using an attack stick for goalie

I have a nemi and eclipse they are both very good reliable heads.

i heard its pretty good, as for the shaft, i like a heavy and strong shaft cus i like to give kids the beat down when they come into my house haha
