So, I'm a second year goalie, and i just starded using a full lenth goalie shaft, how do all you gus tape your full lenth goalie sticks? Pictures would be great if its not too much trouble.

I have a tape butt with tape about 2 or 3 inches up from there, a small amount of tape where I put my bottom hand while I make my save, a piece for where I throw, and about 3 inches form the head down.

do you do the roll the tape then tape over that?

For the but i just tape thin strips over and over again.

When taping in general, I might make it a layer or two thick and tape length wise a few inches.

For field, I have a big butt-end and I have some tape 6" from the top of the head. I will post some pics tomorrow when I get time.
