Hi all,
This is my first year playing lacrosse, it's looked really fun and I have wanted to play for some time but never really gotten around too it. I've played football for as long as I can remember and have played O-line all my life. So I started showing up to some of the practices and right off the bat they told me to play D, now that my sticks skills have improved somewhat, they said i could play attack. I'm kind of in a pickle here I'm not sure which to play. I'm 6'5" if that helps and around 220 and semi-fast. All help is appreciated!

Stick with D. It is so much fun to wack people with that 6 foot pole. Being big and kinda fast is good thing and it is just overall more fun. Yeah it is fun to score goals, but the Defense and the goalie are the heart of the team.
