The MLL rules are to encourage scoring. Sports marketing relies heavily on fan interest, and fan interest relies heavily on scoring. So, the more scoring/high point totals, ideally, there should be more interest.

Though, the MLL could do better if the "purists" would come on down off their high-horses and accept the pro game.

i do enjoy the college game more(more defense and strategy), but i do like the MLL also.

I also understand how high scoring games are more appealing to new fans

2 point line is great, shot clock is great. 2 point line makes the game more exciting. Shot clock makes the game faster. I don't really like the 3 long poles rule just because it seems like the other two rules create more offence, this just makes it a bit too easy.
