Our goalie is decent, one of the better in the league though. Our defense is incredible, lead by your truly. We averaged under 4 goals against per game.

Some of the best men's goalies are short. I personally know a great guys goalie who is 5'4. So don't let that effect you.

but if you have a FAT goalie thats better!! hey have you seen indoor lax where the goalie has so much pads that blocks the hole goal and they still score like 23456434 goales can a goalie do that in outdoor lacrosse??? is there a rule on pads?

I don't know if it is allowed in field but there were many goalies in my school league that wore shin guards, hockey pants, and hockey chest pad. I did that the first year I played. The next year I shed the, and led my team to the best record they had in 4 years.

You do realize that a fat goalie usually means a slow goalie. And a lot of pads slows you down. You just want someone who is fast. Your goalie should be the fastest sprinter on your team. That effects the reflexes. It doesn't matter how much space they take up in the goal. That is just a cop out. Small, quick goalies do way better on low shots than anyone that is tall, fat, or has lots of padding.

And there are rules on the padding you can wear in outdoor.
