So i was wondering considering that this seems to be a very male dominated forum just what was your worst injury related to lacrosse? Me playing womens lacrosse had little to no injuries in high school but since being in college I have had my fair share of injuries...nothin serious like a torn ACL or anything but i think that my worst painful was a couple of years ago In the last game of the season I took a over the head shot and a girl plowed through me with my arm extended over my head and the girl broke 2 of my ribs it was probably the most painful experience...not so much during the game because of my endurance but when we playing the out playoff game a week later i could hardly move it was horrible....so whats ur bigest injury that you played with?
the worsts injury i ever got was i twisted my ankle in a ditch in football when playing friends(didn't get it treated) and then i had a lacrosse game the next day and i get pegged right in the same ankle with the ball and now for some reason my ankle always cracks when ever i bend it
Ya ankles are funny i sprained my ankle this year in a game and it seemed like every game after that i would roll it even when it was taped and now i can be standing and it just gives out its pretty bad but really funny when i am standing there and just fall
I sprained my left ankle...It was funny to watch on film after i did it my whole leg just kind of caved out...Um no it doesnt really effect the way i play when it first happened i could not even get it in my turf shoe without force and i played without tape. I think that once i get in the game my endurance takes over and i dont realize how much it hurts...after the first couple of games after the injury i decided it would be best to get it taped b/c i reinjured it at practice...But it def doesnt really bother me in games
I got cleated once and the guy had metal toe spikes, ended up with a 3 or 4 inch long scar down the back of my heel. Probably should have gotten stitches, but I just taped it and let it do its thing. Lots of blood.
