Default what position should i play

im in the 9th grade and i want to start playing lacrosse, but i dont know what to play and i need to buy a stick so i can start practicing. all i want to do is deck people, so whatever position allows that the most. I run a 5.2 forty, i bench 215 max , im 6'0", and i weigh 140lbs. i also need to know what stick and head to buy, price isnt a problem but i dont like shelling out a ton of money for the new top of the lin, titanium built in missle defence system with thermal guided accuracy kind of bullshit, but if thats what i need to get i will get it

From your height, I'd say go defense. But only weighing 140 lbs... You need to beef up man.

Just because you can bench 215 means nothing in Lacrosse. I have never ever benched before and i am 5'7 and im starting over people that are twice my size. You have to have skill and know how to throw the right amount of checks at the right time. Don't think just cause your big your gona be amazing at lax. Go with a strong shaft. Not the supra i had one and i bent it in the first week. Maybe an STX stick thats what I use

Last time i checked cross checks are illegal. But you do need to bulk up more. as a 6'0 defnese man weighing 140 your gonna get pushed around

Well being in good shape and strong is a huge factor in lacrosse. He can take hits and let out his own with his strength, and also he will have the last breath come the 4th quarter since he is in shape. So please don't say that being in shape or storng has nothing to do with lacorsse because your entirely wrong.

yea midiline you misinterpreted his statement. He was saying that just becuase a player is big and strong DOESNT mean he will be good. He must knowledgeable about the game, and know when to throw the correct checks and how to handle the stick
