before you run drink ROOM TEMPERATURE water. If you drink really cold water it was settle on the bottome of you stomache and slosh around. Same with gatorade/powerade, the sugars will settle and slosh too. Also when your running you usually inhale when your left foot hits the ground and exhale wwhen your right foot hits the ground (or vica-versa) the point is, if you start to cramp up you should change the foot of wich you inhale/exhale on. EXAMPLE: you originally inhale on left and exhale on right.. after you get cramps you should inhale on right and exhale on left. Good luck.
