Nope, the face in the bottom left corner tells you if the person is online or not. If it is lit up (colored in), then they are online. If it is not, they are offline.
You want to click the scale button to give rep points.
EDIT:: Could we be able to see how many rep points others have? I know about the green thing, but actual numbers would be nice.
Or maybe I'm just stupid and can't find them...
