A mixture of both. Both have their place in a routine. Although I rarely go over 8 reps except on special occasions (prehab, rehab, and some other things). You need to lift heavy if you want to get strong. Lacrosse players hit the weights to get bigger, stronger, and faster so they need to lift heavy weights
