OK, here is how it works. You gain points by posting, starting threads, and viewing threads. You get 15 points for every thread started except for in the equipment forum and stick tech forum. You get 5 points per post, and 1 point everytime you view a new thread. When you put points in the bank, they eventually rack up interest. I dont know what the rate is, but ill try and find out. You can use these points to buy rewards. these rewards include username options, user title options, and much more.
