what chest protectors do the duke lax goalies use and why are their shafts so short?
Do you have a picture? It maybe easier to tell. As for shafts, it is all preference. Some goalies like to have shorter shafts while others like to use the full 40"

why do all colleges use stx eclipses along with deep pockets?
The Eclipse is one of the best (in my opinion) heads on the market. It is trusted by all goalies. Many have grown up using an Eclipse and may want to keep using it. The deep pocket allows them to cradle the ball without it falling out. Many if not all come out of the crease to help with clears. It is much harder to cradle with a shallow pocket.

How do they cradle so fast etc?

Practice, practice, and more practice. It comes with time.

I want to learn how to cradle so fast and quick. what should i do and where should i learn those moves?
Practice. Keep your stick in your hands all the time. I had my goalie stick wherever I went. I had it in class, during spare, walking to friends house. The more you have it in your hand, the more better you will become with stick skills.

What pockets should i use to also be able to throw that far?
I assume you are talking about mesh? All mesh has different properties. I for one love 10D mesh (Monster Mesh). The most popular mesh are probably 12D and 17D. If strung properly, they will give you nice and accurate clears.

what drills could i do to cradle faster quicker have a good cool and controlled set way, also throw farther etc.
Just play a lot of wall ball. The school that I played at, had a "L" shape to it. I would throw it against one wall, catch it, do a cradle, then throw it to the other wall. Just start close and slowly move back. Another drill that I did was stand in my stance. I would have the ball in my stick and pop it into the air as if I made a save. The I would circle the imaginary crease and run it full speed across the length of the field cradling along the way.

what does it ake to get to the next level playing goalie (like that special level of play)?
Again, practice is what it takes. Have your stick in your hand wherever you go. Take it when you go shopping with whomever and just throw the ball around. All the top players have played countless hours of wall ball.
