Knighthawks O'Toole and Shawn Evans win NLL weekly awards
Rochester Knighthawks goalie Pat O'Toole and forward Shawn Evans were both honored by the National Lacrosse League for their efforts last Saturday in Rochester's 11-4 win over the Toronto Rock. O'Toole was named the league's Defensive and Overall Player of the Week, while Evans earned Offensive Player of the Week accolades.
Pat O'Toole limited Toronto to just four goals on Saturday night, which included a scoreless second half. He also held the Rock without a goal for 37:44. The four goals against was also franchise record. Further, O'Toole had two assists and 34 saves.
